Lottery Registration
Entrance to the 2016 Butte 100 and Butte 50 are lottery-based. Cost is $5 to enter the lottery, which will be open from January 5, 2016 to February 28, 2016. Winners will be notified via email the first week of March and provided an Access Code to complete the registration. Winners will have one-week to complete registration. If registration is not completed in one week’s time, the registration is automatically forfeited and will be offered to the waiting list. Any proceeds remaining from the lottery will be donated between the Mariah’s Challenge scholarship foundation and local trail building/maintenance efforts.
The Butte 100 is an ultra endurance mountain bike race that takes place in southwest Montana over some of the best single-track trails around!
Combined total racer cap: 350 (100 Mile = 125, 50 Mile = 125, 25 Mile - 100)
Cancellation Policy
A 50 and 100 mile wait list will be avaialable once registration is full. If you cancel before July 12th, 2016, 50% of your entry fee will be refunded and your spot will be filled from the first available wait-list spot. Transfers are not allowed.
100 Mile Course (no changes from 2015)
The 100 mile course will consist of a North Loop (first 50 miles) and a South Loop (second 50 miles). There will be 10 intermediate aid stations at approximately 10 mile intervals (including the start/finish area). For a complete detailed description, click here.
